Smart trainers

The Wahoo Kickr is one that I have long-term experience with, because I have a borrowed one at home. It locks you onto your chosen power level within about 2 Watts regardless of cadence or gear selection. Nothing else (I have tried yet) seems as good when in “erg” mode.

The Elite Direto gets you close but never really zeroes in on the set power.
The CycleOps Hammer seems a bit more decisive, but still doesn’t really lock on.

More testing to follow.
